Self Catering

A self catering holiday is the ideal choice for families or groups of people looking for complete flexibility. There are no set times for meals and style of dress and you have the fun of shopping locally, plus the option of sampling the island's excellent restaurants.

Apart from the hotel apartments, Freedom Holidays properties are self-contained extensions to, or parts of private houses located throughout the islands. Each description states the maximum number of people that may sleep at the accommodation (which must not be exceeded). Bookings are not normally taken for all male or all female parties.

The prices shown in the brochure are mostly for each accommodation for one week's rental. They are mostly not prices per person. Where a holiday spans two rates the rent will be charged pro rata. Where there is an extra charge for electricity or gas used it is clearly stated in the individual property descriptions.

All properties provide crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and furniture sufficient for the number of people booked for the accommodation. Bed linen is provided free of charge, however, towels and cot linen are not supplied unless stated. A two ring cooker would normally be a Baby Belling type. A twin bedroom would contain 2 single beds. Some satellite systems are on a shared dish.

It is impossible for all tastes to be catered for in matters of style and decoration and we have tried our best to fairly describe each accommodation. Price should not be taken as an indication of the standard of the accommodation.

If you let the owner know your arrival time you will be met at the accommodation. You may take possession of the property after 2pm and you must vacate by 10am on your departure day to allow time for cleaning (even though you are required to leave the unit clean and tidy). These times may vary.

Some owners will provide a simple grocery basket at your cost if you are arriving late in the day, please request this service direct from the owner. Baby-sitting is also offered by some owners by direct arrangement. This is entirely at the owner's discretion, at their own convenience, none or any particular nights can be guaranteed and a charge may be made. Many items such as cots, baby buggies and highchairs may be hired locally.

Unfortunately, pets are not accepted unless specifically stated in the accommodation description.

Wi-Fi connections are not guaranteed at any property.

Freedom Holidays Ltd 2009 Brochure Errata:

Liberty Apartments. Rates shown are daily rates for 7 - 28 day rentals. Please request rates for 1-6 days or over 28 day rentals.

There is an Excess of £250 on Group 1 car hire. This can be waived by the payment of a small supplement.

The Inn Apartments will not now be offering self catering accommodation in 2009.

As of 01/01/2009 we will no longer be offering our existing Channel Islands Holiday Insurance. The complexities of the Jersey Financial Services Compliance regulations make it no longer viable for us to continue to offer this service. We do, however, continue to strongly recommend adequate travel insurance for all clients.

La Haule Manor Apt 1: Price panel: 2009 price: 1st Jan - 31st March & 1st Oct - 31st December £595 per week.

Discovery Bay. Suites are now described as Apartments apart from the Vista Suites whose description is unchanged.. There is no personalised parking, just an ample general parking area.

Chateau Fontenelles. Double bed settee opens to 2 singles.

Rose Garden. The use of the swimming pool is by arrangement and is for quiet swimming only. It is not a childrens' play area.

Discovery Bay now take dogs at a charge of £25 per week each.

Corbiere Phare have now discounted April, May & June by £100 per week.

Les Amis is described as up to 3 or 4 but is available for up to 3 persons only.

Aigretmont Seymour. Price reduction to £1,125 for week beginning 29th August 2009.

Country Bungalow now has a child age restriction of over 11 years.
