Located in the heart of Jersey’s countryside, Hamptonne is a Jersey Heritage property which is a beautifully restored farm with a collection of thatched granite houses, stables and meadows. It is an idyllic rural site, offering a traditional and memorable setting for a relaxing family break or romantic getaway.
Two well-appointed, comfortable self-catering apartments have been created amongst the thatch and granite of Hamptonne’s historic architecture.
The Cider Barn Apartment sleeps up to six adults in two double bedrooms and one twin bunk-bedded room and has a spacious open plan kitchen/ reception room, a shower room and toilet and additional cloakroom.
Hamptonne operates as a visitor attraction; the public will be on site during opening hours and for special events throughout the year. The Cider Barn (underneath the Apartment) is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies but is only used as a poor weather contingency option. This will be a rare occurrence, but as access to the apartment is via wooden steps located inside the barn, access to the apartment will be restricted for the duration of the ceremony (approximately 30 minutes). Wedding receptions and corporate events can also be held in a Marquee overlooking the meadow which is accessed through the North Courtyard Gate. You will be notified of any events upon enquiry.
*Please note : Work is due to commence on development of the Hamptonne Museum from mid-October 2021 to approx. June 2022. There is likely to be noise disturbance during working hours and a section of the outdoor area will be inaccessible but there will still be access to the orchard, meadow and inner courtyards.
Sorry, no smoking in the accommodation.
Children of all ages very welcome.
