Customer Comments

We enjoyed our stay at Thistle Cottage and the welcome pack was hte best we have ever had!  Much appreciated.  Lovely accommodation and nice to have private seating area outside.  Many thanks, Mr & Mrs C, Edinburgh

What a gorgeous place to stay! We were so lucky to find this brand new little gem. It’s the perfect combination of a light and airy barn conversion which, with clever use of space, is also warm and cosy in the evenings after enjoying an uninterrupted view of the sunset across open fields. The double is a little oasis of calm while the twin is particularly good for kids, with plenty of den making potential and a fabulous stargazing window. They’ve packed in plenty of facilities so you’ve got room to spread out and we particularly enjoyed the barn doors, which let in the birdsong breeze from the sun trap patio. There’s a hedge veg stall straight across the road and a vibrant farm shop, Scoop, right next door. You’ll get a warm welcome from the hosts and, if you’re keen to say hi, there’ll be an enthusiastic greeting from their two lovely spaniels as well. A lovely place to be; highly recommended.  Kate March 2022

We stayed at this beautiful cottage Thistle Grove and had a wonderful time. Peaceful surroundings  bird song in the morning and lovely hosts with two friendly dogs. Good location very near to shops. Nothing to much trouble for Carolyne and her husband. Cottage is light and airy our Grandchildren loved the mezzanine. Would absolutely recommend it. Mr & Mrs N, Tyne & Wear

We have enjoyed being here very much, the cottage has been comfortable through highs and lows of weather. We found it very well appointed. Thank you for your hospitality. Mrs C, UK

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, it was like a little home from home. The decor and facilities in the cottage were lovely. We would love to stay again. Mr J, Hampshire

What a wonderful cottage, we have so enjoyed our stay. We have walked miles along the coast, enjoying stops at cafes, beaches and fabulous viewpoints. Your cottage has everything you need, fluffy towels, comfortable bed and so pretty. Mr & Mrs B, Bucks

Thank you for your hospitality, you have a lovely new cottage. It is very stylish and complete. Very quiet. The location is very central for bike rides. The weather was food and we've seen a lot of your lovely island. We will definitely recommend your cottage. Mr & Mrs V, Holland

Lovely lovely cottage, very comfortable quiet and peaceful, lots of country lanes for walking. Miss R, Yorkshire

Thank you for a lovely welcome. The cottage is beautiful, location good, very near shops but all you hear is bird song. The weather was good, altogether a great holiday. Mrs & Mrs N, UK

We had a fantastic stay in Thistle Grove Cottage, everything you need and handily located to nearby shops. We have 2 teenagers, would highly recommend The War Tunnels, escape room at the War Tunnels, Roccos golf, Durrell Zoo, Elizabeth Castle and all of the many beautiful bays and beaches. We also had a lovely meal at St Mary's Pub. A wonderful stay, thanks for the hospitality. The D family, Oxfordshire
