Customer Comments
This wonderful property is new to our portfolio. Testimonials will follow, but get in touch if you want to ask any questions.
A much deserved 5*. We had a wonderful Christmas break staying at La Cote du Palier. The property is an extremely attractive and well-maintained/restored Jersey granite farmhouse with both charming traditional character and all the necessary modern conveniences. It is spacious - huge bedrooms and a very large family sitting room - whilst also being comfortable, well-heated, elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a large family dinner on Christmas Eve and the separate dining room, with a table to seat 12 to 14 guests, accommodated the party brilliantly. The well-equipped kitchen also serviced our needs perfectly, with a traditional stove supplemented by a modern induction cooker and amply stocked crockery, utensils etc. This made the whole stressful event of Christmas cooking very manageable! The house sits in an attractive garden and surrounding farming landscape, so it is very peaceful, but there are amenities (excellent M&S food) a couple of minutes' drive away, and the main town, St Helier, is within 15 minutes drive. Communications with the owners were excellent throughout, and we would plan a return stay any time! Highly recommended. Family O'S, London
