Beau Voir Studio at Mont D'Olivet

2 Adults | 1 Child | 1 Infant

Beau Voir is a unique studio apartment located down a long winding, private driveway with breath-taking sea and countryside views over-looking the beautiful Bouley Bay on the north coast of Jersey. Enjoy a romantic escape to this fabulous granite hideaway with amazing sea views to France and the surrounding woods and countryside.

For those that remember the late British journalist and television presenter most famous for his television programme Whicker's World, you may recognise this lovely, bright, unique Studio as Alan's private home office located in an enviable location at the base of his former home surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens.

Explore the large gardens with your own private area and outdoor furniture with views of the sea.  Make use of the beautiful tear-drop pool (heated June - August), hammocks, swing, firepit and BBQ area.  Then, why not luxuriate in the Hydropool hot tub and indulge in your own private sauna!

The studio has a king size bed with a romantic canopy lit by fairy lights and a sofa bed for a child.  A high chair and travel cot are also available.

Only a couple of hundred meters to the north coastal cliff path walks - east to Rozel Bay and west to Bonne Nuit Bay. There are restaurants and beach kiosks/tea rooms at all of these bays and Bouley Bay is the Islands' Scuba Diving centre and a starting point for Kayak tours and guided walks. The world-famous Jersey Zoo at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is in this area and also the Eric Young Orchid Foundation.

Children of all ages welcome.

1 well behaved dog welcome on request.  Please note the garden is not fenced.

*Where a property advertises a swimming pool or hot tub, the use is, without exception, always entirely at the users' own risk.  Please note that whilst children of all ages are welcome, the swimming pool is deep and this property also has a fishpond, and the end of the garden is unfenced and leads into a bracken area before the edge of a very steep bank and children must be supervised by parents at all times.

Bouley Bay Hill Climb

The first Hillclimb was held in 1920 when the road surface was concrete, and the club had just been formed. The idyllic setting on Jersey’s north coast, with the French coastline visible on a clear day is unsurpassed for its atmosphere and spectacle in British hill climbing. The original course was 1065 yards in length, but this was reduced to the current 1011 in 1949. Demanding, technical and challenging are just a few of the descriptions used by the UK competitors who visit each year for the British National Hill climb championship. Unlike many UK events the JMC & LCC hill climbs are open to all types of machinery from cars to sidecars and motorbikes to karts - all are welcome to entertain the crowds. With its mixture of blind bends through high banked tree lined corners to the tight hairpins towards the top, Bouley Bay has everything to challenge the best in the business. For spectators the high banks above the top half of the hill are a natural amphitheatre looking down the hill as the competitors race up.
