Acorn Wood Cottage
4 Adults | 1 ChildThis lovely 3 bedroom cottage forms part of a 12 acre organic small holding in the rural Parish of St Ouen. This barn conversion offers high quality holiday accommodation in a peaceful and private semi-wooded location and adjoins an extensive area of National Trust land. Plemont Bay is a short walk away and there is easy access to Jersey's cliff paths from this cottage without the need for a car.
There is a small sheltered area with a beautiful view approximately 100yds from the cottage along a grassy path which is on the owners' private property with a table, chairs and an umbrella. The owners provide a picnic blanket and cushions for clients to choose their own spot to relax and enjoy the extensive organic grounds. There is abundant birdlife here and a murmuring stream in the private valley. The location of this property will appeal to visitors wanting to relax and enjoy their surroundings. It is a perfect base for a walking holiday but would also be perfect for a cycling holiday as the property is surrounded by delightful country lanes in every direction. There is a restaurant within walking distance and the nearby sandy beach at Plemont Bay has a popular beach cafe serving snacks and also evening meals in the summer.
Children of all ages most welcome.
Car recommended due to the location of the property.

*Accessibility - Whilst the entire property is not fully accessible, the master bedroom and house wet room/shower room are located on the ground floor so could suit guests with restricted mobility, but the terrain outside is not paved.
Please note that this lovely property is in a rural location and is accessed via a long private driveway that is not tarmacked. The property owner has a friendly dog, horses are stabled within the grounds and free range chickens roaming within the surrounding woodland.

“We have just had wonderful week at Acorn Wood Cottage, St Ouen. The cottage is in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees, but is so close to the cliffs/sea. With the lounge/kitchen, bathroom & main bedroom being on the ground floor it was ideal for us as a couple, especially as I am disabled. It was all so peaceful, but still close to tourist attractions. Tess & Nigel are lovely hosts - don't forget to try the eggs - laid that day and delicious. We have returned home refreshed & relaxed.
