Morel Farm - The Farmhouse
Morel Farm - The Farmhouse8 Adults | 2 Infants
A beautiful old farmhouse, located in the centre of the island, carefully renovated with great authenticity and charm, surrounded by other farm buildings and a tranquil walled garden.
The main Farmhouse is a perfect place to unwind and is steeped in history and charm. A Grade 2 listed building, recently refurbished throughout by The National Trust for Jersey, the Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 adults in four beautifully prepared rooms with luxury and comfort at the forefront of their design. The Master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and there are 3 other family bathrooms across both floors. Downstairs the comfortable lounge is the perfect place to unwind in front of a wood-burning stove whilst the snug, with its 18th century wood panelling, offers an intimate place to curl up and read. The large fully equipped family kitchen diner has everything you could ask for, or for more formal entertaining you may prefer the dining room with its large and beautiful granite fireplace. And with two staircases, the building is just perfect for indoor hide and seek!
Outdoors, the Farmhouse enjoys its own private garden with a large picnic table and benches. There is also the farm’s original walled garden, shared between the guests from The Farmhouse, Chapel and Bakehouse, where, in the summer months you can sit and relax in the wildflower meadow and children can play safely.
Morel Farm consists of 3 houses. The main Farmhouse, the Bakehouse and the Chapel, all of which are available as self-catering accommodation. Group bookings can be taken for any combination of the three houses, and as the Farm can accommodate up to 12 adults this makes the houses particularly suitable for family gatherings and other reunions.
